Terms and Conditions

The Coach

The service provided is for the training of various skills and techniques used within the game of wheelchair basketball. The Coach will explain when these skills could be used within the framework of a game but it is the responsibility of the athlete to determine the safety and suitability. The Coach cannot be held responsible for any injury or negative impact of a technique being used unsuitably.

The Coach will ensure a safe environment for the training session.

If The Athlete asks for advice outside of the above remit (eg, strength and conditioning, medication, dietary supplements, nutrition, etc) The Coach may choose to give their opinion based on their own lived experience. This should not be taken as professional advice and it is strongly suggested that The Athlete seeks the advice of a professional with expertise in that field.

The Athlete

The Athlete is responsible for their own equipment during the training session. This includes their chair and any strapping. It is assumed by The Coach that this is in good working order unless told otherwise.

The Athlete is responsible for communicating the presence of any injuries prior to the training session. This can be done via the "any other information" section of the booking form, via the body of the email itself, or in person prior to the commencement of the training. The Coach cannot be held liable for any injury exacerbated by training if it was not communicated beforehand.

Booking and Payment

Booking is to be secured through the submission of a Booking Form and a date and time will be confirmed through whichever communication medium is preferred (but will always be in writing). An estimated cost can be requested at any point but this is no guarantee that the final invoice will be the exact same.

Upon the completion of the training session, or booked block of training sessions, an invoice will be sent via e-mail.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation or rearrangement of a training session must be communicated, at minimum, 48 hours prior.
